Sensors and Actuators
The IGCSE syllabus focuses on how hardware interacts with the real world.
- Sensors: Input devices that measure physical properties (Temperature, Light, Pressure). They send analogue data which must be converted to digital (ADC).
- Actuators: Output devices that create physical movement (Motors, Pumps, Valves) based on digital signals from the computer.
